Experimente Audeo

No Audeo, students’ educational experience is guided by highly qualified staff in a safe, supportive environment. The primary method of instruction is independent study that is supplemented with seminars, direct instructional workshops, guest speakers, tutoring, e viagens de campo.

Students’ course of study is based on a Pathways Personalized Education Plan (PPEP). This plan is developed by the Audeo counselor along with the student, pais, and teacher. It incorporates high school graduation requirements, the student’s short-and long-term goals, learning styles, previous work, current interests, academic achievement, skills development, and standardized test scores. The PPEP is reviewed and updated by parents, student, and teacher on a regular basis throughout the student’s enrollment.

Students at Audeo experience the “university model” where they study one or two courses at a time and are expected to complete one course every three to four weeks.  Students progress at an individual pace, receber aulas particulares ou enriquecimento, conforme necessário, e participar em aulas de grupo pequeno para atender a objetivos acadêmicos. Os estudantes ganham créditos do curso e atendimento com sucesso participando de atividades escolares e aulas concluídas que demonstram o domínio das normas estaduais. Implementação Audeo inclui um modelo de sucesso da aprendizagem colaborativa, ensino de todo o currículo, lições passo a passo, and year-round open enrollment.

Courses at Audeo are based on California State Course Standards and are infused with appropriate technology-based activities and assignments. In addition to providing a rigorous, personalized academic experience, Audeo works to alleviate social and personal pressures that can impact academic performance. It has many partnerships and alliances to provide community resources to students and families.

Audeo teachers are committed to the delivery of excellence in teaching. Teachers are actively involved with students and families. Teachers are engaged with parents on a weekly basis through formal meetings, home visits, phone calls, and emails. Families are considered part of the learning ‘team’ and are an integral part of the learning process.
